PW Police report passenger dies from injuries sustained in an April 15 traffic collision

The investigation revealed the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup truck was traveling westbound on Yates Ford Rd. approaching Evans Ford Rd. when a 1993 Buick Roadmaster traveling eastbound on Yates Ford Rd. entered the intersection in front of the truck’s path of travel. The truck and Roadmaster collided within the intersection. The driver and female passenger of the Roadmaster were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A Pug in the Roadmaster was declared deceased on scene.

Pre Governor’s School to be offered at Osbourn Park High School for ninth & tenth graders

The Pre-Governor’s School at Osbourn Park High School (PGS@OP) in Manassas will be a preparatory program with an accelerated mathematics and science course sequence that prepares students who want to apply to the Governor’s School @ Innovation Park, which is open to juniors and seniors. Helicopter lands at Parkside Middle - No school connection

An automobile accident occurred this morning, Oct. 27, on Mathis Avenue in front of Parkside Middle School in Manassas, according to a report from Prince William County Schools. A medivac helicopter landed on the football field at Parkside in order to transport the victim to the hospital. There was no connection to the school, the PWCS report stated.
