Woman’s screams scare off suspect at Woodbridge residence

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On December 20 at 3:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Allspice Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. The victim, a 55-year-old woman, reported to police that she was inside the residence when an acquaintance, identified as a 16-year-old juvenile male of Woodbridge, entered the home by smashing a rear glass door with a brick. When the victim saw the suspect, she screamed and contacted police. The suspect fled prior to officers arriving without taking any property. No injuries were reported. Officers located the suspect a short time later and detained him without incident. Charges are pending. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery–  On December 26 at 10:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 10100 block of Irongate Way in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile of Manassas, reported to police that he made arrangements with an acquaintance to conduct a narcotics transaction. During the encounter, the victim was approached by two other unknown males. At some point, one of the males displayed a knife and relieved the victim of his money and drugs then fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. During the investigation, officers determined that the acquaintance of the victim was involved. Following the investigation, officers obtained petitions for the arrest of the accused. The accused was located and taken into custody without incident on December 28. The two other male suspects remain unidentified.  The investigation continues.

Last seen wearing dark blue sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white shoes
