Woman in hospital with life-threatening injuries; man charged with attempted murder
On January 30, 2019 at approximately 10:05 a.m., officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to 8691 Phoenix Dr (Super 8) for a report of a suspicious event.
Further investigation revealed the suspect assaulted the victim, a 44-year-old female, causing life-threatening injuries. The victim remains hospitalized for her injuries. The suspect, Charles Robert STUBBS, was taken into custody on January 31. The investigation is on-going.
Arrested: STUBBS, Charles Robert, a 41-year-old male of NO FIXED ADDRESS
Charges: Attempted Murder, Malicious Wounding, Domestic Assault 3rd or Subsequent Offense
