VDOT to briefly close Old Centreville Rd. in Manassas July 11 and July 12 - in wee hours
OLD CENTREVILLE ROAD NIGHTTIME CLOSURES AT BULL RUN TONIGHT AND JULY 11-12
Stoppages up to 15 minutes each for bridge beam removal
Intermittent full closures will occur along Old Centreville Road on the bridge over Bull Run in Manassas the nights of Tuesday, July 11 and Wednesday, July 12 between midnight and 4 a.m. each night in order to remove bridge beams, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Each stoppage will last up to 15 minutes. Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
The work is part of the Old Centreville Road over Bull Run bridge rehabilitation project, which is scheduled for completion in fall 2017.
