Two businesses robbed, one in Manassas, one in Woodbridge

**INCIDENTS**

Commercial Burglary – On June 18 at 7:16AM, officers responded to the Seal Master of Manassas located at 8756 Virginia Meadows Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the burglary occurred sometime between 2:30PM on June 16 and 7:10AM on June 18. Entry was made into the business through a front window that was found damaged. No property was reported missing.

Strong Armed Robbery – On June 18 at 1:36PM, officers responded to the Cricket Wireless located at 4377 Dale Blvd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed two unknown men entered the business and forced the employees to an interior bathroom. The suspects then took money from the register before fleeing the business. No weapons were seen and injuries were reported. A police K-9 searched for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.
Suspect Descriptions:
Two black males, unknown ages, approximately 6’0”, between 160-170lbs with thin builds
Both men were last seen wearing all dark clothing

Residential Burglary – On June 17 at 3:27PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3600 block of Golf Side Cir in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed the burglary occurred sometime between 4:00PM on June 16 and 3:00PM on June 17. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. Two TVs, clothing, and other items were reported missing.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On June 19 at 1:34AM, officers responded to the 14700 block of Dodson Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. The caller reported to police that several gunshots were heard in the above area. The caller further reported seeing a silver sedan, occupied by two black males, leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Officers located multiple casings consistent with blank ammunition in front of a residence. No injuries or property damage were reported. The vehicle seen leaving the area was not located.


**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding by Caustic Substance – On June 18 at 11:30AM, officers responded to Fraleys Furniture Gallery located at 17696 Main St in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a disorderly. The victim, a 64-year-old man, reported to police that he and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved pepper spray and proceeded to spray the victim in the face. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Erica Althea GARDNER, was arrested.
Arrested on June 18:
Erica Althea GARDNER, 38, of no fixed address
Charged with malicious wounding by caustic substance
