Suspect sought in connection with malicious wounding at Manassas car repair shop

Malicious Wounding | Domestic Related – On November 8 at 4:52PM, officers responded to a repair shop located in the 10400 block of Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 25-year-old woman, drove to the above business to get her vehicle repaired from an altercation the night prior with the accused, an acquaintance.

Upon pulling into the parking lot, the accused, unbeknownst to the victim, pulled in behind the victim and crashed into the rear of the victim’s vehicle. The accused then backed up and continued to drive into the driver’s side door multiple times before fleeing the scene.

A short time later, the accused returned to the location. A family member of the victim, a 55-year-old man, attempted to intervene to prevent the accused from engaging with the victim. During the encounter, the accused slammed the family member’s head into the rear windshield resulting in an injury to his face.

The accused left the area prior to police arriving at the business. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Senquan Chavaskee Jerome SAUNDERS. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

Senquan Chavaskee Jerome SAUNDERS, 37, of the 5900 block of Fort Rd in Centreville
Described as a black male, 6’3”, 225lbs with a medium build, short black hair, brown eyes, and goatee
Wanted for 1 count of malicious wounding, 1 count of attempted malicious wounding, and 2 counts of domestic assault & battery

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On November 9 at 7:37PM, officers responded to investigate a shooting that occurred at a residence located in the 13900 block of Rope Rd in Woodbridge (22191).

The investigation revealed that a man, a 19-year-old man, walked into Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the hand. The man was not cooperative with police as to what occurred leading up to the injury. Officers determined that the incident possibly occurred at the man’s home in the above area. Damage was found inside the home consistent with a round being fired. No other injuries were reported. This incident was not random.
