Suspect in Dec. 16 Woodbridge robbery arrested in South Carolina

**UPDATES**

Strong Armed Robbery*ARREST – On January 6, Carl ISSAC, Jr., was located and arrested in South Carolina. This suspect was wanted in connection to a strong armed robbery which occurred in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy Ln in Woodbridge on Dec. 16. The accused remains in custody in South Carolina pending extradition back to Virginia.

Strong Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On December 16th at 5:59PM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 74 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown man asking for directions. During the encounter, the suspect struck the victim in the chest then took an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the area prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified and obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Carl Maurice ISAAC, Jr. Attempts to locate ISAAC have been unsuccessful.

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On January 6 at 6:14PM, officers responded to residence located in the 10300 block of Trundle Pl in Manassas (20110) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:10AM and 5:45PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Several sports memorabilia jerseys were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On January 6 at 5:12PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 3200 block of Berlin Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on October 15 and 4:45PM on January 6. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A watch and miscellaneous kitchen utensils were reported missing.
