Staffing update Aug. 5 for Prince William County Schools

Prince William County Schools has reported the reassignment of two current staff members:
Ashlee Owens, third grade teacher at Triangle Elementary School, has been appointed assistant principal at Signal Hill Elementary School effective Aug. 8.
Melissa Miller, behavioral specialist in Special Education, has been appointed administrative coordinator for autism in Special Education effective Aug. 8.

Dale City and Mullen Elementary named “Green Ribbon” Schools
The day in and day out efforts Dale City and Mullen Elementary to provide engaging environmental and sustainability education activities and learning opportunities that will have a lasting impact on these students’ lives" have prompted the2024 U.S. Department of Education to name them Green Ribbon Schools.
