Six years later, Manassas Police arrest suspect in 2009 larceny

Larceny
On Nov. 28, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident at 7-Eleven (10299 Dumfries Rd) for a report of a larceny. The reporting party told officers that at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 27, she was making a purchase in the store when she placed her Apple iPhone 6s valued at over $1,000 on the counter. The victim accidentally left the phone on the counter upon exiting the store and when she returned, it was no longer there. Further investigation revealed that a man in line behind the victim took the phone after she left, then left in silver sports utility vehicle, possibly a late model Chevrolet Suburban or Tahoe.
          Description of suspect: White Hispanic male with a buzz cut hair style, wearing and blue and green polo shirt and jeans

Larceny from Vehicle
On Nov. 27, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to L.A. Fitness (9946 Liberia Ave) for a report of a larceny from vehicle that occurred sometime between 8:45 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. The reporting party told officers that while he was inside the gym, someone had taken his keys from where he left them during his workout. The victim located his keys at the front desk after a patron found the keys in the parking lot and turned them in. When the victim opened his vehicle he discovered his wallet containing various identification and credit cards, a watch valued at $70, and an undisclosed amount of cash missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 27, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to Stone Center (10405 Nokesville Rd) for a report of a burglary. The reporting party told officers that sometime between Nov. 26 and Nov. 27, someone entered the business and stole a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no signs of forced entry.
 
**Arrests**

Larceny – Arrest
On Dec. 30, 2009, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8800 block of Liberia Ave for a report of a larceny. The reporting party told officers that sometime between Dec. 8 and Dec. 30, 2009, someone had stolen multiple items from her residence, valued together at over $1,000, along with a credit card. The victim then learned that one of her stolen credit cards had been used to purchase a bus ticket to Mississippi where the suspect was believed to be staying. Through further investigation, Detectives identified the suspect as Vicki A. GONZALEZ (56) in 2010 and obtained felony warrants for Identity Theft, Forgery, Uttering, and Credit Card Theft. On Nov. 29, 2015, GONZALEZ was located in the Manassas area with the assistance of Prince William County Police and charged. GONZALEZ was held on a $4,000 bond and has a pending court date in General District Court.

Burglary – Arrest
On Nov. 20, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 10200 block of Gregory Grove Ct for a report of a breaking and entering. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 1 p.m. and 10:20 p.m., someone entered the residence through a rear window and stole various items valued together at approximately $4,000 along with an undisclosed amount of cash. Through further investigation, officers identified the suspect as a 16-year-old male juvenile of Manassas. Stolen items were returned to their owners and on Nov. 26, the juvenile was charged with Burglary. He has a pending court date in Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
