Relative wanted for child abuse after allegedly dropping off 16-year-old at police station

**INCIDENTS**

Aggravated Malicious Wounding | Abduction – On August 15 at 9:07PM, officers responded to investigate an assault which occurred at an apartment located in the 1500 block of Tyler Cl in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that evening. The victim, a 20-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, an acquaintance, began assaulting her in an unprovoked attack. During the encounter, the accused began punching the victim in the face then grabbed her by the hair and dragged her into a bathroom. The accused then punched the victim in the stomach several times before striking her in the face with a towel rack causing severe lacerations. The accused took the victim’s phone before fleeing the area in the victim’s rental vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries and police were contacted. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Kelly Jasmine ALEGRIA.

Described as a white female, 5’03”, 175lbs with a medium build, black hair, and brown eyes
Charged with aggravated malicious wounding, abduction, and grand larceny

Attempted Armed Robbery – On August 15 at 10:51AM, officers responded to the Harbor Freight Store located at 10800 Promenade Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted robbery. The store manager reported to police that an unknown man entered the store wearing a motorcycle helmet then brandished a handgun and demanded money.  When the manager was unable to open a safe, the suspect fled the area on a motorcycle. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 6’00” with a thin build and light complexion
Last seen wearing a black motorcycle helmet, black leather jacket, black pants with a white stripe, and a red backpack

Felony Child Abuse | Felony Hit and Run – On August 14 at 7:22PM, officers responded to Veterans Memorial Park located at 14300 Veterans Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash. Witnesses reported to police that a vehicle was driving recklessly in the above area before crashing into a guard rail. The driver then fled the area on foot. When officers arrived on scene, they found a 5-year-old boy, later identified as a family member of the accused, with minor injuries. Officers determined that at the time of the crash, the child was unrestrained. A family member responded to take custody of the child. Following the investigation, officer’s obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Nery Boanerges ALBENO SABALLOS.

Felony Child Neglect – On August 12 at 11:33PM, officers responded to the Western District Station in Manassas to investigate a child neglect which occurred earlier that evening. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, and the accused, identified as a family member, were involved in a verbal altercation at a nearby hotel. Following the encounter, the accused drove the victim to the Western District Station where he dropped him off then left without making contact with any officers. Another family member later responded to take custody of the victim. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused, identified as Marc Duane WILLIAMS.

Described as a black male, 5’09”, 205lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Charged with child neglect

Residential Burglary – On August 15 at 12:13PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1500 block of Teal Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM on August 6 and 12:00PM on August 15. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a rear window which was found shattered. A red computer laptop, money, a sunburst yellow Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, a black Gibson electric guitar, and a PlayStation 3 with video games were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On August 15 at 4:30AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14100 block of Cuddy Loop in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 26-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused bit the victim on the face. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police. The accused fled prior to officers arriving. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused, identified as Jeremiah Johnson PHILLIP. PHILLIP was located and arrested without incident later that morning.

Attempted Malicious Wounding – On August 12 at 10:07PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14200 block of Ferndale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 37-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation outside of the residence which escalated. During the encounter, the accused displayed a knife and attempted to stab the victim. A struggle ensued before both parties eventually separated. The accused then took the victim’s keys and went back into the residence. When officer’s arrived, they made contact with the accused who was also determined to be intoxicated. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.

Charged with attempted malicious wounding, grand larceny, and public intoxication

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On August 14 at 7:51PM, officers responded to the 14800 block of Dumfries Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shots fired call. The caller reported to police that she was involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, an acquaintance, while driving in the above area. During the encounter, the accused stopped the vehicle and retrieved a handgun from the trunk. The accused then fired several shots into the ground and the air. The victim was able run into some nearby woods and hide from the suspect until he fled the area in the vehicle. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. A short time later, the accused was located walking near his residence with a concealed machete and detained without incident. A search warrant was subsequently executed on his vehicle which was located parked a short distance away. A handgun and ammunition were recovered. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with reckless handling of a firearm, willfully discharging a firearm in public, and carrying a concealed weapon
Court Date: September 26, 2016 | Bond: Held on a $10,000 secured bond

Attempted Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On August 14 at 10:52PM, officers were on routine patrol in the area of Sudley Manor Dr and Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) when they were flagged down to investigate a domestic. When officers arrived, they made contact with a man who exhibited signs of intoxication and arrested him without incident. While being placed in a police cruiser, the accused resisted and attempted to bite one of the officers in the arm. The accused was quickly secured without further incident. No injuries were reported.  Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without further incident.
