PWC Police Report for Wednesday, July 13, 2022 - Amazon Fresh has middle-of-night visitor

• Hit & Run Crash Investigation *ARREST –
On July 12, 2022 the suspect Prince William County Police were seeking in connection to the hit and run crash that occurred in the area of Centreville Rd. and Leland Rd. in Manassas (20111) on July 10, was arrested. While investigating the crash, Prince William County Police Department investigators identified the suspect as Domingo Eduardo PEREZ CEDILLO and obtained warrants for his arrest. On July 12, the accused turned himself in to police without incident.

Domingo Eduardo PEREZ CEDILLO, 26, of 6915 Compton Valley Ct. in Centreville
Charged with hit & run, reckless driving, and driving without a driver’s license

Hit & Run Crash Investigation [Previously Released] – On Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 9:21PM, investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the intersection of Centreville Rd. and Leland Rd. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a hit and run crash. The investigation revealed the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Express Van was traveling northbound on Centreville Rd., just past the above intersection, when the driver crossed over the solid yellow line and struck a 2012 Nissan Sentra. The impact caused the Nissan to rotate into the adjacent lane where a second vehicle, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, struck the Nissan before coming to rest. The driver of the Express Van continued traveling on Centreville Rd. until the vehicle became disabled. The driver fled on foot prior to police arriving in the area. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspect who was not located. The driver of the Nissan, a 75-year-old man, was extricated from the vehicle by rescue personnel and flown to area hospital where his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening. The driver of the Jeep, a 37-year-old man, reported minor injuries. No suspect information is available at this time. The investigation continues.

•Unlawful Entry – On July 13, 2022 at 2:20AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Amazon Fresh located at 7807 Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an unlawful entry. The investigation revealed earlier that morning, an unknown man gained entry into the store when the business was closed to the public. While inside the store, the suspect entered the employees’ locker room and removed personal items from several lockers. The suspect then began to walk through the store towards the exit where he was confronted by an employee. During the encounter, the suspect put the items taken from the locker room on the ground and left the store without further incident.
