PWC Police investigate residential burglaries and one commercial burglary

Among the burglaries listed by Prince William County Police Feb. 17-21, 2016 were these in the Feb. 22 police report:

Residential Burglary – On February 21 at 8:07AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16700 block of Sweeney Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM on February 18 and 8:07AM on February 21. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a basement window which was found damaged. Two laptop computers and jewelry were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 20 at 9:32PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2900 block of Stockholm Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:22PM and 9:30PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made into the home through an unsecured rear door. Two laptop computers were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 20 at 1:51AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Winding Lp in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:20PM on February 19 and 1:00AM on February 20. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the residence through a rear window which was found shattered. No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 19 at 8:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13500 block of Kona Noe Ct in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 7:40PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A computer hard drive and two gaming consoles were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 19 at 2:07AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13000 block of Pershing Dr in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary in progress. The victim, a 42 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that an unknown man entered his residence through an unsecured garage door. When the victim challenged the man, he fled the area on foot. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. No injuries were reported. A computer memory card, gift cards, and money were reported missing.

Commercial Burglary – On February 17 at 7:11AM, officers responded to the Tile Shop located at 7344 Stream Walk Ln in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The business manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on February 16 and 6:15AM on February 17. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through a rear window which was found shattered. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing. The investigation continues.
