PWC Police identify additional suspects; one juvenile arrested

**UPDATES**

Armed Robbery *ADDITIONAL SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On August 8, detectives with the Robbery Unit identified a third suspect involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Tackhouse Ct and Tackhouse Lp in Gainesville on July 17. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of this third suspect, identified as Steven Nawe SIAKAM. Attempts to locate SIALAM have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery *ARREST [Previously Released] – On July 18, detectives with the Robbery Unit identified two suspects involved in the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of Tackhouse Ct and Tackhouse Lp in Gainesville on July 17. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspects, identified as Eric Sims WALKER and a 17-year-old male juvenile. On July 28, members of the Bike Unit located and arrested WALKER without incident at a residence in Gainesville. On July 29, the 17-year-old male juvenile was also located and arrested without incident. The investigation continues.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On July 17 at 9:53PM, officers responded to the area of Tackhouse Ct and Tackhouse Lp in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a robbery. The victim, an 18-year-old man of Bristow, reported to police that he made arrangements to conduct a narcotics transaction with four known acquaintances in the above area. During the encounter, one of the men pulled out a knife and demanded money and the narcotics. The victim was assaulted by the suspects before they dispersed on foot. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglaries *ADDITIONAL ARREST– On August 3, detectives with the Property Crimes Unit identified the remaining suspect involved in a series of residential burglaries in the Woodbridge area on July 19. The suspect, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile, was located and taken into custody without incident at a residence in Woodbridge later that afternoon. During a search of the residence, a stolen firearm was recovered. Additional charges are pending. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglaries [Previously Released] – On July 19 at 10:03AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3300 block of Rollingwood Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived, they discovered that entry had been made into an enclosed porch through a window which had the A/C unit pushed out. Further investigation revealed that entry was attempted into the residence through a door which was found damaged. No entry was made inside the residence and no property was reported missing. At 10:30AM, officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence located in the 13400 block of Fowke Ln. The homeowner reported to police that she heard a knock on her front door and went to answer then heard a loud noise to the rear of the residence. As she walked to the back yard, she saw three unknown men attempting entry into the residence.  When the victim challenged the suspects, they fled the area on foot. Two of the suspects, identified as Treshawn Kalante MYLES and Wesley Joseph WOODEN HARRIS, were located a short time later by responding officers and detained without incident. A police K-9 was used to search for the third suspect who was not located. Officers later learned that two additional burglaries occurred at residences located in the 13200 block of Minnieville Rd and 3500 block of Hummock Pl. No entry was made into the residence on Minnieville Rd and no property was reported missing. Entry was made into the residence on Hummock Pl through a window which was found damaged. Jewelry and several designer purses were reported missing.  Following the investigation, MYLES and WOODEN-HARRIS were arrested. Additional charges are pending. The investigation continues.
