Strong Armed Robbery
ADDITIONAL ARRESTS
Police have identified and arrested the second unknown male related to the strong armed robbery reported to have occurred in the area of Mid Summer Lane on Sept. 23. The investigation also revealed that the original known acquaintance was also involved in the set up of the robbery. Arrested: (Juveniles) Both are 16-year-old males of Woodbridge. Charged with robbery and assault by mob. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility. Arrested: (Juvenile) – Previously Released: A 17-year-old male of Woodbridge. Charged with robbery, additional charge of assault by mob. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility.
Strong Armed Robbery (Previously Released)
On Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Old Bridge Road and Springwoods Drive in Occoquan for a robbery. The male victim, 14 of Woodbridge, reported to police he had arranged to sell his tennis shoes to a known male acquaintance. The victim met up with the male acquaintance and another male in the area of Mid Summer Lane. The two males guided the victim to a path between residences off of Mid Summer Lane where he encountered two unknown males. The unknown males grabbed the victim and began to assault him. During the encounter, the first two males fled the area while the two unknown males took the victim’s backpack containing a pair of shoes and an iPod valued around $400. The victim sustained minor injuries. Police were able to identify one of the two unknown male assailants involved, a juvenile. Investigation continues.

CRIME SOLVERS CASES
Burglary / Larcenies from Vehicles

On Sept. 28 at 2:56 a.m., police responded to the 5600 block of Assateague Place in Manassas for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police he awoke to a loud noise coming from his living room. Upon investigating the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown man inside his residence. The man, once discovered by the homeowner, fled the residence. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked garage door leading to the main residence. Police checked the surrounding neighborhoods but were unable to locate the man. No items were reported missing. As police checked the surrounding area, multiple vehicles had been tampered with and items reported missing. Lookout: Male, unknown race, between 16 and 25, 6’0”, thin build.  Last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and dark athletic pants with a red stripe.

Burglary / Vehicle Tampering
On Sept. 28 6:44 p.m., police responded to the 5800 block of Paine Run Place in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 27 and 6:15 a.m. Sept. 28. Entry appeared to have been made through an opened door to an attached garage. Unlocked vehicles inside the garage were rummaged through. No items were reported missing and not entry was made into the main residence. This incident is possible related to the burglary/larcenies from vehicles incidents reported above.

Larcenies from Vehicles
On Sept. 28 at 5:36 p.m., police responded to the area of Boar Run Court and Hobsons Choice Loop in Manassas for multiple vehicle larcenies. The investigation revealed that sometime between 9 p.m. Sept. 27 and 5 p.m. Sept. 28, an unknown person(s) entered approximately nine vehicles in the above areas. A Nintendo DS valued around $60 and an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing. No suspects were located. This incident is possible related to the burglary/larcenies from vehicles incidents reported above.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary to Business

On Sept. 28 at 8:04 a.m., police responded to Kim Auto Upholstery at 13735 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge for a burglary. Owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7:30 p.m. Sept. 27 and 7:40 a.m. Sept. 28. Entry appeared to have been made through a side glass door that had been broken out. No items were reported missing.
