WANTED
Malicious Wounding
On June 26 at 6:50 p.m., police responded to the 14000 block of Mt. Pleasant Dr. in Woodbridge for a fight. The male victim, 36 of Woodbridge, reported to police that he witnessed a vehicle driving recklessly in his neighborhood. When the vehicle stopped near his residence, the victim and the driver engaged in a verbal altercation. The vehicle then sped away but returned a short time later. The occupants, unknown number, approached the victim and a fight ensued. During the encounter, the victim was struck, with a suspected baseball bat, by an unknown man then cut with an unknown sharp object by a man later identified as the accused. The group fled prior to police arrival. The victim received medical attention for his injuries. Warrants were obtained against the accused and remain on file.        Wanted: Jason Edward Johnson, 23, no fixed address. Described as a white male, 5’07” 190 lbs., brown eyes, black hair. Wanted for malicious wounding.

Attempted Burglary
On June 24th on 10:48 a.m., police responded to the Bath and Body Works at 10990 Bulloch Dr. in Manassas for an attempted burglary. Employees reported to police that between 8 p.m. on June 19 and 10 a.m. on June 20, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the business by prying open a rear door. No entry was gained and no items were reported missing.
