INCIDENT REPORTS
Armed Robbery

On Nov. 14 at 6:13 p.m., police responded to the 7-11 at 14410 Minnieville Road in Woodbridge for a robbery. Store clerk reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency before fleeing the area. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the man. No injuries were reported. Lookout: Black male, between 18 & 25, about 5’09” 130 lbs., thin build. Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front, black pants with a white stripe and a black mask.

Armed Robbery
On Nov. 14 at 6:43 a.m., police responded to the area of Old Bridge and Tanyard Hill roads in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 30 of Dumfries, reported to police he was driving down Old Bridge when he was struck from behind by another vehicle. The victim and the other driver pulled to a side street where the other driver supposedly displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took the victim’s wallet containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported. Lookout: White male, between 30 & 40, 5’10” 140 lbs., thin build. Last seen wearing a black North Face-style jacket and blue jeans.

Strong Armed Robbery
On Nov. 14 at 6:43 p.m., police responded to the area of Panther Pride Drive near Jefferson Davis Highway in Dumfries for a robbery. The male victim, 16 of Woodbridge, reported to police he was walking in the area above when he was approached by four unknown men. The men assaulted the victim and took his hat. Minor injuries were reported. Lookout: All four males were reported to be between 16 & 17, between 5’05”–6’0”, medium build. Unknown last clothing description.

ARRESTS
Malicious Wounding

On Nov. 13 at 3:07 p.m., police responded to the 9600 block of Evans Ford Road in Manassas for a domestic. The female victim, 40 of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known family member, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim several times to the face with a phone. The victim was transported to an area hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. The accused was arrested without further incident. Arrested: A 16 year old juvenile male of Manassas. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility.

Destruction of Property / Possession of Burglarious Tools
On Nov. 14 at 12:29 a.m., police responded to the LKQ Yard at 17445 Old Stage Road in Dumfries for a report of a suspicious person. Caller reported to police that two unknown men, one later identified as the accused, could be seen inside the yard attempting to remove catalytic converters. Police arrived and utilized a K-9 to locate the accused who was hiding in the brush nearby. The accused was also found to be in possession of cutting tools and appeared to have entered the lot by cutting through a perimeter fence that surrounded the yard. The second suspect was not located. No items were reported missing. Damage to the fence was estimated around $1,500. Arrested: David Anthony Garcia, 29, of 18003 Joplin Road in Triangle. Charged with destruction of property and possession of burglarious tools. Court date set for Jan. 5, 2012, held on a $10,000 secured bond.

OTHER INCIDENT REPORTS
Burglary

On Nov. 14 at 9:02 p.m., police responded to the 3100 block of Antrim Circle in Dumfries for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window. Electronics and jewelry, valued around $2,000, in addition to an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency were reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 14 at 2:20 p.m., police responded to the 14200 block of Samantha Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a doggy door on a basement door. A TV, laptop, jewelry and other items valued around $7,000 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 13 at 7:07 p.m., police responded to the 10300 block of Trundle Place in Manassas for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police she was in another part of the residence when she heard a noise coming from a lower level. Upon investigating the noise, the homeowner heard what sounded like the rear sliding glass door being shut. Homeowner did not see the possible intruder. No items were reported missing.

Burglary
On Nov. 4 at 2:41 p.m., police responded to the 16300 block of Boatswain Circle in Woodbridge for a burglary to a residence under construction. Construction crews reported to police the burglary occurred between 11 a.m. Nov. 2 and 8 a.m. Nov. 3. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Appliances, including an oven, refrigerator, gas range and dishwasher, valued around $2,000 were reported missing.

Larcenies from Vehicles
On Nov. 13 at 3:22 a.m., police responded to the area of Crestwood and Elsinore drives in Manassas for a report of two suspicious males looking into vehicles. Caller reported to police that two unknown males were seen looking through vehicles in the area and were then seen getting into a vehicle and leaving the area. Police located a vehicle, unoccupied, that matched the description provided by the caller. Police located possible stolen GPS units inside the vehicle. The investigation continues.
