Strong-Arm Robbery *ARREST – The suspect sought in connection to the robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 2900 block of Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) on May 17, 2020, was arrested on Dec. 31, 2020, according to a Prince William County Police Department news release.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit had previously identified the male suspect on June 12, 2020 and obtained arrest warrants. But initial attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful. On Dec.31, 2020, the suspect, identified as Jesus SANDOVAL Jr., was arrested without incident. The case remains active as detectives attempt to identify the other suspect involved in the incident.

Strong-Arm Robbery [Previously Released] – On May 17 at 12:01AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 2900 block of Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 29-year-old woman, reported to police that she was allegedly robbed by a woman she met earlier that day. The investigation revealed that the victim was accompanying the woman to work when the they stopped at a nearby apartment complex and picked up a male acquaintance of the woman.
During the encounter, the man struck the victim several times before taking her property. The woman and man fled in a dark-colored Chevrolet HHR on Gideon Dr. towards Prince William Pkwy after they stopped and forced the victim from the vehicle. The victim sustained minor injuries and reported that her cell phone and keys were missing. The investigation continues.
