**INCIDENTS**

Strong Armed Robbery | Abduction | Strangulation | Malicious Wounding – On June 1 at 4:22AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10200 block of Farragut Ct in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault.

The victim, a 24 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was returning home when she was approached by the accused, an acquaintance, outside her residence. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the arm and began to assault her. The accused then picked the victim up and carried her to the 10200 block of Irongate Way where he threw her to the ground and continued to assault her. At some point, the accused grabbed the victim by the throat and began to choke her.

The accused eventually fled the area and the victim contacted police.  Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the accused, identified as Anthony Roni VAUGHN III. Attempts to locate VAUGHN have been unsuccessful.

Wanted:
Anthony Roni VAUGHN III, 21, of 10250 Farmington Ct in Manassas
Described as a black male, 6’03”, 255lbs with a medium build, black hair, and brown eyes
Charged with robbery, abduction, strangulation, and malicious wounding

Armed Robbery – On June 1 at 9:37AM, officers responded to the 8200 block of Shoppers Sq in Manassas (20111) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 27 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she approached by an unknown man.

During the encounter, the suspect attempted to grab the victim’s purse. When the victim resisted, the suspect displayed a handgun then took the victim’s purse before fleeing into a nearby wood line. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Attempted Armed Robbery – On May 28 at 9:56PM, officers responded to the 13700 block of Lynn St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 36 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was approached by two acquaintances. 

During the encounter, one of the men displayed a knife and demanded property from the victim. When the victim refused, the suspect chased the victim as he attempted to flee. The victim was eventually able to get away from the suspect and contacted police. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On June 1 at 8:45AM, officers responded to a new home construction site located in the 4500 block of Cotswold Manor Lp in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The construction manager reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 5:00PM on May 31 and 7:00AM on June 1. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the new home. Three new exterior patio doors were reported missing from inside an attached garage.

Residential Burglary- On May 31 at 11:15SAM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3900 block of Oakdale Cir in Triangle (22172) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM on May 28 and 11:00AM on May 31. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry.  Money was reported missing.
