Police seek thin man in black bandana

Aggravated Assault –
On Monday, Oct. 4, 2021 at 12:40PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. Upon arriving at the location, officers located the victim, a 52-year-old man, suffering from lacerations to his head. The investigation revealed that the victim was sitting in the grass while in the above area when an unknown man approached him from behind. During the encounter, the suspect struck the victim multiple times before walking away. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Suspect Description:
A black male, between 30-40 years old, approximately 5’10”, with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black bandana, a white tank top, and black shorts, while carrying a bag

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On Oct. 4, 2021 at 9:38AM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to Amarr Garage Doors located at 10190 Harry J. Parrish Blvd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted burglary. The store manager reported to police that a notification was received from the alarm company between 2:14AM and 2:39AM. The investigation revealed that officers responded during the above timeframe and located an unsecured door. At this time, it appears that no entry was made into the business and no property was reported missing.
