Police kept busy Oct. 1 with burglaries and attempted burglaries

Residential Burglary – On October 1 at 11:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7700 block of Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 8:30PM and 10:40PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A purse and keys were reported missing from inside of the residence. Money, a purse, and wallet were reported missing from a vehicle parked outside the residence.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 1 at 4:50PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4100 block of Churchman Way in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary attempt. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect attempted entry into the residence sometime between September 22 and September 28 through the front door, which was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On October 1 at 12:36PM, officers responded to Golden Plumbing located at 7080 Tech Cir in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary attempt. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect attempted entry into the business through a garage door, which was found damaged, sometime between 6:00PM on September 28 and 10:00AM on October 1. No entry was made into the business and no property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On September 30 at 12:54PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Valleywood Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 1:00PM on September 27 and 11:30AM on September 30. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Money and jewelry were reported missing from inside of the residence.
