The Old Centreville Road bridge over Bull Run will reopen to traffic in both directions Saturday morning, Aug. 26, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Since February, traffic has been reduced to one lane and has been controlled in both directions by temporary traffic signals. The signals will be removed Saturday, and all remaining bridge work will be completed using flaggers per the following weekly schedule:
· Monday through Thursday: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
· Friday: 9 a.m. to noon
The project is scheduled for completion later this fall.
