**INCIDENTS**

Crash – Fatality – On August 30th at 2:16PM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy near Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a crash involving a motorcycle. The investigation revealed that the operator of a 2010 Victory Cross motorcycle was travelling southbound on the Prince William Pkwy in the area above when the driver struck the rear of a 2005 Beaver Santiam recreational vehicle. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries on September 14th. The operator was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision and speed was determined to be a factor.

The driver of the 2010 Victory Cross motorcycle was identified as Bill HENRY, 69, of Papillion, NE

Burglary while Armed – On September 14th at 11:59PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13400 block Kingsman Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. The investigation revealed that two suspects entered the home armed with shotguns. Once inside, one of the men watched the occupants of the residence while the second suspect searched the home. The suspects eventually left without taking any property. No injuries were reported. This incident was not random. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On September 14th at 4:55PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 9700 block of Solitary Pl in Bristow (20136) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00PM and 3:00PM on September 13th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the home. Entry was made into an attached garage through an open overhead door. A bicycle was reported missing.
