Manassas sets May & June public meetings on stormwater fees

For many years the City of Manassas Public Works Department has been managing stormwater cost-effectively to reduce erosion and water quality problems associated with stormwater.  However, with new federal and state regulatory requirements, the cost of managing stormwater for the City of Manassas has dramatically increased.  Public information meetings about the new stormwater requirements and the proposed fee will be held in May and June at the following times:

HOA Meeting:  May 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Public Works Facility, 8500 Public Works Drive

Citizen Information Meeting: May 28, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Public Works Facility

Stakeholder Meeting with Businesses:  June 11, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Public Works Facility

Chamber of Commerce Meeting:  June 17, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce, (9720 Capital Court, Suite 203 in Manassas
