Manassas man, 22, charged with child endangerment and DUI after Aug. 7 traffic stop

Child Endangerment | DUI – On August 7 at 12:36AM, Prince William County police officers on proactive patrol conducted a traffic stop on a driver who threw what appeared to be a cigarette out of the window near Amherst Dr. and Yorkshire Ln. in Manassas (20111).

Officers stopped the vehicle and identified the driver who appeared to be under the influence.

Officers also located an 8-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl along with their mother inside the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, the driver, identified as Juan RAMIREZ-HERNANDEZ, was arrested.

Arrested on August 7:
Juan RAMIREZ-HERNANDEZ, 22, of the 8700 Pebble Ln. in Manassas. Charged with child neglect, driving while intoxicated, refusal, driving without a license and littering
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond
