Burglary
On Jan. 19, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 8800 block of Portner Ave for a report of a larceny. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 17, someone entered her residence and stole jewelry and a Roku media player, valued together at $100.

Stolen Auto
On Jan. 18, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9700 block of Bragg Ln for a report of a stolen vehicle. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., his 1993 white Dodge Ram work van was stolen from its parking space on Bragg Ln. The stolen vehicle also contained several construction tools to include a ladder on the roof and two air compressors, valued together at $2,500.
Description of stolen vehicle: 1993 Dodge Ram work van, white, with a roof ladder rack, a dent on the left rear fender, and the letters “DGE” missing from the rear Dodge emblem (Value: $2,500)

Burglary
On Jan. 18, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to Mike’s Kwik Mart (9642 Grant Ave) for a report of a burglary. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 11 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 10:10 a.m. on Jan. 18, someone forcefully entered the business through in the back door and stole several items from the store. Among the stolen items were alcohol, cigarettes, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Larcenies from Vehicles
Between Jan. 16 and Jan. 20, 2016, Manassas City Police responded to various residences for separate reports of larcenies from vehicles in the:
• 10200 block of Cedar Ridge Dr
•  8900 block of Rolling Rd
• 10000 and 10100 blocks of Greenleaf Dr
• 10100 block of Candy Ct
•  8500 and 8900 blocks of Jasmine Ct
•  10300 block of Lee Manor Dr
•  9600 block of Shannon Ln
Residents told officers that sometime during the overnight hours, someone rummaged through their unlocked vehicles and in some cases, stole various items. Among the stolen items were electronics, books, a wallet containing identification cards, prescription medication, sunglasses, and an undisclosed amount of spare change and cash.

Vandalism to Auto
During the early morning hours of Jan. 14, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9000 block of New Britain Cir for a report of a vandalism to auto. The reporting party told officers that at approximately midnight, both the driver’s side and passenger’s side, front door windows had been shattered by what appeared to have been BB pellets. There were also dents and scratches on the vehicle that according to the victim, had appeared at approximately 2 a.m. on Jan. 13. Total damages were estimated at $600.

Larceny
On Jan. 14, 2016, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9200 block of Acer Ln for a report of a larceny. The reporting party told officers that sometime between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., two packages delivered by UPS had been stolen from the front porch of his residence. The stolen items were valued at $155.
