Larceny from Vehicle
On August 9, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9500 block of Jayhawk Terr for a report of a larceny from auto.  The reporting party told officers that sometime between 9:00PM on August 7th and 5:00PM on August 9th his black handgun was stolen out of his vehicle.  The firearm was valued at $250.00.  The victim was unsure whether the vehicle was secured or not at the time of the theft.

Hit & Run
At approximately 10:00AM on August 7, 2015, Manassas City Police was on regular patrol when an officer noticed a fire hydrant on the 10000 block of Market St had been dislodged and laying approximately ten feet from its base.  Damages were estimated at $1,000.00.

Larceny
On August 5, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to a Prince William County facility located at 9412 Peabody St for report of a burglary that occurred in the past.  The reporting party told officers that sometime between 5:00PM on July 31st and 1:10PM on August 5th, someone broke into the shed on the property and stole thirty-eight (38) 30-lb cylinders of refrigerant, each valued at $350.00.
