Larceny
On Sunday, June 17, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers responded to the 9200 block of Thornwood Lane, regarding a larceny from a vehicle. The victim told officers that between June 16, 2012 at approximately 1:15 p.m. and June 17, 2012 at approximately 10:15 a.m., someone entered his unlocked vehicle, a 1995 BMW, and stole its radio. The radio was valued at approximately $220. This is an ongoing investigation.

Larceny
On Sunday, June 17, 2012, Manassas City Police Officers responded to the 9500 block of Vinnia Court, regarding a larceny from a vehicle.
The victim told officers that between June 16, 2012 at approximately 5 p.m. and June 17, 2012 at approximately 9 a.m., someone entered his unlocked vehicle, a 2005 Toyota, and stole a Garmin GPS. The GPS was valued at approximately $100. This is an ongoing investigation.

Residents are reminded not to leave anything of value inside their vehicles and to always keep their vehicles locked.

Hit & Run
Manassas City Police Officers are investigating a Hit& Run that occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2012, in the 9300 block of Main Street. The victim told officers that her vehicle was parked on the street when it was struck. The victim’s vehicle, a 2009 Volvo, sustained approximately $800 in damages. This is an ongoing investigation.

Burglary
Manassas City Police Officers are investigating a burglary that occurred between midnight on June 12, 2012 and 4:30 p.m. on June 15, 2012, in the 9900 block of Wellington Road. The victim told officers that he arrived home and discovered that someone(s) broke into his home and stole an Emerson television. The suspect(s) gained entry by prying open the residence’s front door. This is an ongoing investigation.
