April 15, 2015

Larceny
On April 6, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to Wireless Jungle (9526 Liberia Ave) for a report of shoplifting that had just occurred.  The reporting party told officers that between 11:20AM and 11:33AM, a male subject entered the business and browsed the store.  An employee offered assistance to the suspect, which he declined.  The suspect then grabbed two cell phones that were on display and fled on foot heading west.
          Description of suspect: Black male in his 20s with no glasses or facial hair.  Last seen wearing a white shirt, black beanie cap, and possibly blue jeans

Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts
On April 6, 2015, Manassas City Police responded to Brown’s Hyundai (8651 Centreville Rd) for a report of a larceny.  The reporting party told officers that sometime between 8:00PM on April 4th and 9:00AM on April 6th, someone stole two tires and inspection stickers, valued together at just over $1,300, from three different cars belonging to the dealership in the lot.

Breaking and Entering
On April 11, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 10300 block of Butternut Cir for a report of a breaking and entering.  The reporting party told officers that sometime between 7:00AM and 2:30PM on April 9, 2015, someone rummaged through her house and stole pieces of jewelry valued together at approximately $3,000. One of the doors is believed to have been left unlocked during the time of the theft.

Attempted Breaking and Entering
On April 11, 2015, Manassas City Police met with a resident on the 9700 block of Zimbro Ave in reference to a vandalism.  The reporting party told officers that she noticed damage to the dead bolt on her door that she believed occurred in March.  No entry was made and nothing was reported stolen.
