Man finds a hole in apartment window that appears to have been caused by a bullet

**ARRESTS**

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) – On February 4 at 7:55PM, officers responded to the 8300 block of Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) to investigate a disorderly person. When officers arrived, they made contact with the accused and determined that he was intoxicated. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he punched an officer in the chest and kicked another officer in the leg. The accused was eventually detained. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Brian Lee KNOX, was arrested.

Strong-Armed Robbery – On February 3 at 10:55PM, officers responded to the 16300 block of Boatswain Cir in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile of Dumfries, was sitting in his parked vehicle in the above area when he was approached by the accused, an acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim then took his cell phone and car keys. The accused then forced the victim to walk a short distance before the victim was able to break free and knock on a nearby residence for help. Officers arrived and located both of the parties involved. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile, was arrested.

Brandishing a Firearm | Road Rage – On January 30 at 2:08PM, officers responded to the Dunkin Donuts located at 14200 Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a fight. When officers arrived, they located two males fighting inside of the business. Officers separated the parties and determined that the incident initially began as a road rage encounter between the two parties on Prince William Pkwy in the area of Smoketown Rd. At some point, both parties parked in front of the Dunkin Donuts and the accused brandished a handgun at the victim, identified as a 35-year-old man of Woodbridge. The parties then went into the business and began to physically fight. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Charged with brandishing a firearm, assault & battery, and carrying a concealed firearm
Court Date: March 5, 2018 | Bond: Held on a $25,000 secured bond

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On February 3 at 12:22PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14700 block of River Walk Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a destruction of property. The caller reported to police that he located an unknown hole in his wall in November of 2017. On February 2, he discovered a corresponding hole in an adjacent window that appeared to be have been caused by a bullet so he contacted police. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the hole was cause by a bullet fired from a nearby apartment. When officers made contact with a resident of the nearby apartment, it was determined that the accused allegedly inadvertently discharged a round that traveled through the window and entered the caller’s apartment. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested without incident.

Charged with reckless handling of a firearm
