Holiday open house at PWC Animal Shelter Saturday, Dec. 2

On December 2 at the Prince William County Animal Shelter Girl Scout Cadettes (6th-8th grade) from St. Francis of Assisi School in Triangle will volunteer at the Shelter’s holiday open house. The Cadettes will provide tours of the Shelter to visiting families and will run two craft booths to raise money.

This is the second time the St. Francis of Assisi Girl Scouts will work with the Prince William County Animal Shelter. Last month, parishioners at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church gave pet food and supplies to the Girl Scouts drive for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA). As a result, the St. Francis Girl Scouts donated more than 200 lbs. of pet food to the Prince William County Animal Shelter.
