Curious about what’s going on at the historic Prescott House at 9300 Prescott Street in Manassas being refurbished by neighbor Hugh Ickrath? Get a look inside when the structure will be open to the community on Saturday.
Appreciative of all the public support, Ickrath will hold an Open House on Saturday, Aug. 24, from noon to 4 p.m., so that everyone can see the progress thus far first hand.
Ickrath lives two doors down and bought the historic home just in the nick of time to keep it from being demolished by the city.
All proceeds from the $5 entry fee will benefit Habitat for Humanity of Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.
Habitat for Humanity of Prince William County, Manassas & Manassas Park is a nonprofit, locally operated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Since 1994 the local organization has built, rehabbed and repaired more than 100 homes. For more information visit habitatpwc.org.
