Gainesville woman goes to hospital with deep head wound from glass bowl allegedly thrown at her

Malicious Wounding | Felony Hit & Run – On October 28 at 4:16AM, officers responded to investigate a domestic that occurred at residence located in the 14500 block of Collingham Pl in Gainesville (20155) earlier that morning. The victim, a 26-year-old woman, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal argument at the residence that escalated. During the encounter, the accused threw a glass bowl at the victim that struck her on the back of the head causing a deep laceration.

After the altercation, the accused left the area in a vehicle, and the victim responded to a local hospital where police were contacted. Following the initial investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused for malicious wounding.

At 8:05, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Kingsman Rd and Kenny Rd in Woodbridge for a single vehicle accident into a tree. As officers were responding, the driver of the vehicle attempted to flee the area on foot. Officers eventually located the driver, later identified as the accused, and arrested him after a brief foot pursuit. The accused was also determined to be intoxicated at the time of the accident. No injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Following the investigation of the crash, officers obtained additional charges for the accused.

Arrested on October 28:

Charged with malicious wounding, driving while intoxicated, unreasonable refusal, resisting arrest, felony hit and run, and driving on a revoked license

Sexual Battery –On October 27 at 7:31AM, officers began an investigation into an alleged sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in Woodbridge (22192). The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that the accused, an acquaintance, inappropriately touched her while she was sleeping earlier that morning. Following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Jordan Gregory MYRACLE. The accused was eventually located and arrested at his residence in Manassas on October 29.

Jordan Gregory MYRACLE, 26, of 8211 Heritage Crossing Ct in Manassas
Charged with sexual battery
Court Date: December 13, 2018 | Bond:  Held on a $5,000 secured bond

Strangulation – On October 26 at 1:00PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1300 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 28-year-old woman, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated physically.

During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck. The victim was eventually able to separate from the accused and fled the apartment to contact police. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Carlos SEVERINO SALOME, was arrested without incident.

Charged with strangulation, assault & battery, and preventing the summoning of a law enforcement officer
Court Date: November 29, 2018 | Bond: Held on a $25,000 secured bond
