Drug take-back day April 29 at three area hospitals
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, the Prince William County Police Department and the Manassas City Police Department will join with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and community groups to provide residents with a safe and legal way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications.
Take unwanted drugs to the collection sites at Novant Health UVA Prince William Medical Center, Sentara Lake Ridge Ambulatory Care Center, or Novant Health Haymarket Medical Center.
With lots of construction going on at Prince William Medical Center on Sudley Road in Manassas, the hospital is making it easy for drugs to be dropped off—Look for the tent set up outside the birthing center near the Digges Road corner of the parking lot.
