Bank robbery suspect apprehended in North Carolina

Shortly before 1 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2015, Manassas City Police, in collaboration with Town of Warsaw Police, charged Ben R. TAULBEE, Jr (36) for robbery and grand larceny after he was apprehended without incident in Warsaw, N.C. TAULBEE is awaiting extradition back to Va., where he has a pending court date in General District Court.

At approximately 12:50 p.m. on Dec. 28, 2015, a male subject entered TD Bank (8401 Digges Rd) and demanded money from the teller. After leaving with an undisclosed amount of money, the subject fled on foot towards the area of Bruton Parish and Plantation Ln where he is still at-large. Police are actively searching for the suspect. We appreciate the public’s patience as traffic patterns may be temporarily disrupted in order for police to maintain an active perimeter.
