Arrests for malicious wounding and narcotics; suspects sought in armed robbery and home burglary

Prince William County Police Department’s report of incident and arrests on Monday, August 15, 2016

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On August 13 at 4:49AM, officers responded to the area of River Ridge Blvd and Paper Mill Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The victims, an 18-year-old man and 19-year-old man both of Woodbridge, reported to police that they made arrangements to sell a cell phone to an acquaintance in the above area. When they arrived, they were approached by the acquaintance and an unknown man. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a handgun and demanded money along with the victim’s phones. The suspects took the money and the phones before the victims drove away then contacted police. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding – On August 13 at 1:30PM, officers responded to 14100 block of Cove Landing Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 19-year-old woman of Woodbridge, was involved with a verbal altercation with an unknown person in the above area. During the encounter, the victim received several large lacerations to her arms. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. The victim would not provide any suspect information.  The investigation continues.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On August 14 at 6:23PM, officers responded to the 7600 block of Callan Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a destruction of property call. The caller reported to police that they heard several loud noises in the above area earlier that evening. A short time later, damage was discovered to the exterior of two residences and two vehicles in the area. No injuries or no other property damage were reported. Upon further investigation, officers determined that the shots were fired from the interior of a nearby residence. A search warrant was subsequently executed and a firearm with ammunition were recovered. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On August 12 at 9:50PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14200 block of Wilderness Ln in Woodbridge (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:30PM and 9:50PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured front door. A black Ford Crown Victoria was reported stolen.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 12 at 4:12PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13000 block of Caton Pl in Woodbridge (20112) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary attempt occurred between 1:30PM and 3:30PM. The investigation revealed that entry was attempted into the residence through a side door which was found damaged. No entry is believed to have been made into the building and no property was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Malicious Wounding – On August 14 at 12:54PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 14400 block of Filarete St in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a domestic assault. The victim, a 43-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim in the hand. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police. The victim was treated at a local hospital with minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Marc LOUIS, 40, of the 14400 block of Filarete St in Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding, stabbing in the commission of a felony, and domestic assault & battery
Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Narcotics Investigation – On June 30, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded an investigation into the distribution of cocaine in the Woodbridge area (22193). Following the investigation, the accused was located and actively resisted arrest but was quickly detained without further incident. A search warrant was subsequently executed at the residence of the accused. Cocaine, money, and drug paraphernalia were recovered. The arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.
Arrested on June 30:
Venturus Horatio FULLER, 35, of 13798 Gresham Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with distribution of a schedule I or II narcotic, possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic, and resisting arrest
Court Date: August 26, 2016 | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Narcotics Investigation – On February 24, the accused was arrested by detectives from the Prince William County-Manassas City-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force   as part of Operation “Save a Life” which was an aggressive campaign that sought to combat heroin use and distribution in our area. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

Kaleigh Elizabeth REAGAN, 22, of 14334 Northbrook Ln in Gainesville
Charged with 2 counts of prescription fraud
Court Date: September 2, 2016 | Status: Released on a $7,500 unsecured bond
