Incidents and arrests released on Friday, March 11, 2016

**INCIDENTS**

Abduction | Assault & Battery – On March 11 at 12:21AM, officers responded to the area of Allen Dent Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Stafford, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated while traveling in her vehicle on Interstate 95 in the area of Prince William Pkwy. When the victim attempted to contact OnStar for help, the accused damaged the OnStar feature then punched the victim in the face and tied the victim’s hands together. The accused then drove to the area of Allen Dent Rd in Dumfries where he parked the vehicle. At some point, the victim was able to contact a family member who notified police. The accused left the area prior to police arriving. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.
Wanted:
Jesse Mbila Luita TAMBU, 27, of 15502 Travelier Ct in Woodbridge
Described as a black male, 6’00”, 175lbs with a dark complexion, black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for abduction, assault & battery, and destruction of property
 
Malicious Wounding – On March 10 at 8:41PM, officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 35 year old man of Woodbridge, was involved in a verbal altercation with an acquaintance which escalated. During the encounter, the suspect displayed a knife and stabbed the victim in the face. The victim was able to flee the area and contact police.  The victim was flown to a local hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located. The investigation continues.

Indecent Exposure – On March 10 at 10:34AM, officers responded to the 10200 block of Launch Cir in Manassas (20109) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 46 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was walking in the above area when she observed an unknown man expose himself and make an obscene gesture. The victim immediately contacted police and the suspect left the area. No other contact was made between the two parties. Officers checked the area and did not locate the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 20 & 25 years of age, 6’00’’, 175lbs with a thin build and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black shoes

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On March 9 at 8:37PM, officers responded to the 4200 block of Kenton Cir in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shots fired call. Multiple callers reported to police that gunshots were heard in the above area. A witness stated seeing an unknown man discharging a firearm into a nearby wooded area while driving in an unknown vehicle on Cliffview Dr toward Waterway Dr.  Officers checked the area and located multiple shell casings in the roadway along Cliffview Dr. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Residential Burglary – On March 10 at 12:12PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4700 block of Timber Ridge Dr in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 12:00PM. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A UPS package was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On March 11 at 1:47AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2600 block of Omisol Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that he was in the basement when he heard a motion sensor activate. The investigation revealed that an unknown suspect attempted entry into the home through a basement window which was found unlocked. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect who was not located.  No entry was made and no property was reported missing.
