Local gathering for International Day of Prayer for Peace—Sat., Sept. 20

Unity in the Community is hosting an interfaith event to mark the International Day of Prayer for Peace.

Everyone is invited to join in sharing prayers for peace on the theme “Sharing Water, Sharing Air, Sharing The Earth in Peace” at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Manassas Church of the Brethren (10047 Nokesville, Rd., Manassas). 

Please bring a covered dish to share at the fellowship supper following the service. 

A contribution of non-perishable items for the food pantries at ACTS and Northern Virginia Family Service (SERVE) is invited.

Singers interested in joining an informal choir will gather at 4:15 to prepare a musical offering.  All are welcome to participate.
