Adult suspect in May 8 homicide in Gainesville turns self in, PWC Police report

Murder Investigation *SUSPECT ARRESTED – On May 12, 2022 the adult suspect sought in connection to the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old Dumfries man, that occurred in the area of the Somerset Pointe Apartments located in the 14000 block of Deming Dr. in Gainesville (20155) on May 8, was arrested. The suspect, identified as Malachi Thaddeus COLEMAN, turned himself in at the Adult Detention Center in Manassas without incident. 
Arrested on May 12: 
Malachi Thaddeus COLEMAN, 20, of the 7500 block of Equinox Landing Ct, Gainesville
Charged with 2nd degree murder, robbery, and use of a firearm in commission of a felony
