Novant Health will host a public meeting Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 11:30 a.m. at George Mason University in Manassas on plans for Novant Health and University of Virginia (UVA) Health System to create a regional health system in Northern Virginia.

Parents and guardians are reminded that, by law, all kindergartners must have at least one dose of required immunizations, and all sixth-grade students are required to have a tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis booster vaccination (TDaP). Also, all newly enrolled kindergarten through fifth-grade students must have a physical in order to start school.
