On May 19 at 10:48AM, investigators from the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Great Oaks Dr and Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a single vehicle crash. When officers went to investigate, they located a sedan overturned with the driver still inside. The driver, identified as an adult, was pronounced dead at the scene.

On May 19 at 12:40AM, the Prince William County Public Safety Communications Center (PSCC) received a 9-1-1 call from someone reporting a shooting involving a vehicle which was allegedly occurring in the area of Grant Ave in the City of Manassas, according to a report from Sgt. Jonathan Perok, spokesman from Prince William County Police Department.

Currently Prince William County police are investigating a Manassas City police-involved shooting which occurred at George Hellwig Memorial Park located at 14420 Bristow Rd in Manassas (20112), according to a press release from Sgt.
