PWC police detectives arrest suspect in March 25 cafe homicide shooting in Woodbridge

Murder Investigation *ARREST – On March 27, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Homicide Unit arrested a suspect in connection to the shooting death of Kalin Javon ROBINSON which occurred at the Babylon Café located at 3081 Golansky Blvd. in Woodbridge (22192) on March 25, according to First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, who heads the department’s public information office.

Perok said that during the investigation, detectives identified a suspect with possible ties to the incident. The investigation later revealed that the suspect shot the victim as he exited the establishment and then fled the area. The incident was determined not to be random. No other injuries were reported in the encounter. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Horace Gene CLARK, was arrested.

Charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Homicide Investigation [Previously Released] – On March 25 at 12:17AM, officers responded to the Babylon Café located at 3081 Golansky Blvd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a shooting. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers provided immediate first aid to the man until rescue personnel arrived.  The man was transported to an area hospital where he died as a result of his injuries. The investigation revealed that a group of people were gathered in the parking lot of the above location when several gunshots were fired. The man was struck by multiple rounds as the group dispersed. Detectives with the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting and are seeking to speak with anyone who was present during the altercation who can provide more details as to what occurred. No arrest has been made in this incident. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
