Police search for suspects in malicious wounding and indecent exposure

Malicious Wounding – On April 18 at 9:23PM, officers responded to the Connie’s Food Market located at 3901 Graham Park Rd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 54-year-old man, reported to police that the accused, an acquaintance, struck him several times in the face while the two men were inside the store causing him to lose consciousness.

The altercation appeared to have stemmed from a previous encounter between the two parties the night prior. The accused fled the area prior to police arriving at the location. The victim received medical attention on scene for his injures. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused identified as Daniel Jachin MILES. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful.

Indecent Exposure – On April 18 at 7:30PM, officers responded to investigate an indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred in a parking lot located in the 8400 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) earlier that evening. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 41-year-old woman, and her child, a 4-year-old girl, were walking back to their vehicle in the parking lot when they observed an unknown man sitting in a vehicle near theirs. As the victims approached, they observed the man was exposing himself and making an obscene gesture. Once observed by the victims, the man immediately left the area. No other contact was made between the man and the victims. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark gray, BMW 330xi.
