Basketball 3-on-3 tournament in Manassas Aug. 6

A Connect 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will be held Saturday, Aug. 6, on the campus of Osbourn High School, 9005 Tudor Lane, Manassas. The tournament will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This will be the third summer for the event, sponsored by Upper Room Christian Cathedral. A $500 cash prize will go to the winning team. Five registered players will have the opportunity to win $10,000 in the Hot Shot Competition.

Brackets include Grades 6-8, mixed/coed and ages 16 through Adult (Men’s and Women’s Divisions). Register by July 31 for 25% discount.  Each team may have a maximum of five players. To register for the tournament, visit http://www.connect3on3.com/Manassas.

Located directly beside the 3 on 3 Tournament, the Connect Family FunZone will provide a fun, free, family-friendly activity area filled with games and a food court. The Family FunZone is geared for families with children up to age 12. The Connect 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and Family FunZone is “an incredible one-day event” that is open to adults as well as children, according to a news release.
