Folds of Honor ceremony at Patriot High School Aug. 22

Braemar resident Col. Gary West is riding his bicycle down the East Coast for two months for a charity called Folds of Honor. He hopes to raise at least $60,000 for wounded heroes and families of those whose loved one was killed in combat.

On Monday, August 22, at 4 p.m.Gary will be at Patriot High School in Nokesville for a ceremony.

The Patriot High School Marching Band will play the National Anthem and there will be a ceremonial flag folding to honor the charity recipients. Col. West has already had many stops including Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium.

Afterwards he will bicycle from Bristow to Norfolk.
