Drama camps for children and teens at Hylton Center
Camps are opening two sessions of drama camps in August at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas. Take the stage in Theatre Express!, an exciting two week dramatic and musical theatre workshop for ages 8-12.
Join professional guest artists and teachers in a theatre arts adventure through theatre games, drama, acting techniques, mime, scene study and improvisation. Morning sessions in dance, music, voice, musical theatre, and theatre combat add a variety of skills essential to the young actor. The afternoon session features a musical theatre performance workshop with a final performance for family and friends.
Pied Piper Theatre camps run July 30-Aug. 10 and Aug. 13-24 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Additional camps are available for ages 5-7 and 13-20. Register at http://www.center-for-the-arts.org or call the Center for the Arts at the Candy Factory at 703-330-2787.
