The Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) has initiated a multimodal transportation alternatives analysis along U.S. Route 1 (“Route 1”) in Northern Virginia.

Interstate 95 southbound has re-opened at Exit 133/Falmouth in Stafford County following an earlier crash. Congestion is beginning to clear, but starts approximately 10 miles north of Exit 133 in North Stafford and southern Prince William, VDOT said.
