It was a brisk, cold day outside this past Thanksgiving, but hearts were warm at Old Bridge United Methodist Church. For the past 23 years this church in Lake Ridge VA has welcomed the community to come in and sit a spell and enjoy a nice holiday meal.

Proposed attendance boundary changes may impact students now attending 19 schools in eastern Prince William County, including all six elementary schools in Lake Ridge, nine in Woodbridge and four in Dale City. The changes are due to one new school being built and five schools where classroom additions are under construction.

Wanted are local community members and/or parents or legal guardians of students who attend Antietam, Bel Air, Belmont, Featherstone, Kerrydale, Kilby, Lake Ridge, Leesylvania, Marshall, Marumsco Hills, Minnieville, Occoquan, Old Bridge, Penn, Potomac View, Rockledge, Springwoods, Vaughan, or Westridge Elementary Schools.

On July 7 at 10:59PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Old Bridge Rd and Rolling Brook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a crash. The investigation revealed that a driver of a 1993 Toyota Standard was traveling westbound on Old Bridge Rd and attempted to make a left turn onto Rolling Brook Dr., according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok.
