Woodbridge woman reports early morning robbery while walking to her vehicle

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On December 14th at 6:38AM, officers responded to the 4300 block of Hemingway Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 56 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking to her vehicle in the above area when she was approached by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The suspect took money from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 5’6”, 145lbs with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and white pants

Commercial Burglary – On December 12th at 9:47AM, officers responded to ASAP Auto located at 14823 Dumfries Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The general manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:45PM on December 11th and 7:30AM on December 12th. The investigation revealed that there were no signs of forced entry into the business. Entry was believed to have been gained into the business through an unsecured door. A chain which secured a front gate surrounding the property was found to have been cut. Miscellaneous tools and equipment were reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 11th at 7:40PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 16300 block of Krammer Estates Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic disturbance. During the encounter, the accused, identified as a juvenile, was briefly detained. At one point, the accused became agitated and combative, striking two officers to the upper body. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. The initial domestic disturbance was determined to have only been a verbal alteration.
