Woodbridge man accused of abduction and sexual assault being held without bond
Abduction | Object Sexual Penetration – On October 18, detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the Woodbridge (22193) area of Prince William County earlier that morning.
The victim, a 20-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. When the victim attempted to leave the room, the accused physically prevented her from exiting. During the encounter, the accused sexually assaulted the victim.
Eventually, other residents in the home intervened and the victim was able to leave the residence and contact the police. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Danilzon Manuel RUIZ TORRES, was arrested.
