Witness intervenes in assault of 13-year-old, county police report

**INCIDENTS**

Strangulation – S On December 8 at 4:45PM, officers began to investigate an assault which occurred in the 14800 block of Darbydale Ave in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that afternoon.  The investigation revealed that the victim, a 13-year-old male of Woodbridge, was walking in the above area when he was involved in a verbal altercation with an acquaintance which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the throat and threw him to the ground. The accused continued to assault the victim until another witness intervened. The parties eventually separated and the police were contacted. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused, identified as Micah Nahum HARRIS. Attempts to located the accused have been unsuccessful. The investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding by Mob – On December 10 at 1:57AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 15700 block of Tassleford Ln in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, identified as 30-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was confronted by three female acquaintances at her residence.

During the encounter, the suspects punched and kicked the victim before fleeing the area in a vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Following the investigation, officers identified two of the suspects, identified as Quinette La QUARLES and Destiny Emerie HERNANDEZ, and obtained warrants for their arrest. QUARLES was located and arrested at her residence later that afternoon. Attempts to locate HERNANDEZ has been unsuccessful. Officers are still working to identify the third suspect. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On December 9 at 4:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 8000 block of Six Towers Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that sometime between November 23 and 3:00PM on December 9, power tools were taken from a detached shed. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the shed through a door which was found damaged.

Residential Burglary – On December 8 at 10:39AM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1200 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that two unknown black males kicked in the front door of an apartment around 10:15AM and took several containers full of shoes. The suspects then fled the area in a white Chevrolet Trailblazer. No further suspect descriptions are available at this time.
